1. Who we are. Walks for Paws ("we", "us") provides dog walking and pet care services in Brisbane, QLD: group walks, solo walks, puppy visits and pet sitting (drop-in visits).
2. Getting started. New clients meet us first: a free, no-obligation meet & greet at your home. Booking access is enabled once we've met you and your dog and confirmed we're the right fit.
3. Your dog. You confirm your dog is registered with your local council and that vaccinations are current. Please tell us everything relevant: behaviour, triggers, medical needs, escape talents. Dogs declared dangerous, menacing or restricted under Queensland law are walked solo only, one dog at a time, as the law requires.
4. Bookings & payment. Prices are shown at booking time and locked when you book. Pay by card online, bank transfer against an invoice, or in person. Invoices are payable within 7 days.
5. Cancellations. See our Cancellation Policy — in short: free with 24 hours notice; late cancellations and no-access visits may incur a fee at our discretion.
6. Health & safety. In extreme heat or storms we may shorten a walk or substitute indoor play/enrichment — you'll see what we did in your visit update. If your dog needs urgent veterinary care and we cannot reach you, you authorise us to seek treatment from your listed vet (or the nearest available vet) at your cost.
7. Home access. Keys and access codes are stored securely, labelled anonymously, and access notes are kept encrypted. We enter your home only to provide booked services.
8. Photos. We only share photos of your dog publicly (e.g. our gallery) if you've given photo consent in your portal. Visit photos are always sent to you privately.
9. Our care. We are insured and police-checked, and we take all reasonable care of your dog and home. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Changes. If we materially change these terms we'll let you know before they apply to you.
